BHT Event Planning ("BHT," "we," "us") is the customer-facing brand of E & Co. LLC, an event planning and event leadership business based in Oxford, Mississippi, led by founder Beth Thompson. This policy explains what information we collect through bhtevents.com and in the course of working with clients, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information you give us: when you complete our contact form, book a call, email us or become a client, we collect the details you choose to share, such as your name, company or organization, email address, phone number, event date, location, estimated attendance and budget, and a description of your event.

Payment information: payments are processed by our payment providers, including Stripe and Relay. Your card or bank details are entered directly with those providers and are never stored on our website or systems. We receive only limited information, such as your name, the amount paid and the payment status.

Technical information: like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical data when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you view. Our site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking tools.

We use your information to respond to inquiries, schedule consultations, prepare proposals, plan and deliver your event, process payments and invoices, communicate about your engagement, and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

When planning an event, we may share necessary details (for example, guest counts, dietary needs or contact information for event-day coordination) with venues, hotels and vendors working on your event.

We rely on trusted providers to run our business, including Netlify (website hosting and form handling), Google Workspace (email, calendar and appointment booking), and Stripe and Relay (payment processing and invoicing). These providers process information on our behalf under their own privacy and security terms.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

We keep inquiry and client information for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements, then delete or securely archive it.

You may ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by emailing beth@bhtevents.com. We will respond within a reasonable time, subject to any records we are required to keep by law.

Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
